Hebrews 10:25 – Now is not the time to stop getting together….#bettertogether. Whether 
it’s Zoom, WhatsApp, FB or in person, don’t stop gathering! We are God’s Eklesia!
Three years ago I heard the Lord say he would give me something before Christmas. It was during a particularly difficult time because a dream that I had had since I was a young child seemed to fall apart.
Then on Christmas Eve as I was asleep, I remember turning in bed and realized that I had kicked my Bible off the edge of the bed and it fell on the floor…it was their because I had been on my knees in prayer and tears praying for Him to show up. But when I heard it fall to the ground I just smiled…somehow, someway I just new I would find a message for me in the morning.
Sure enough, when I awoke on Christmas morning, I remembered my Bible. I jumped out of bed eager for my Christmas present from God. When I picked up my Bible, I noticed that my bookmark was in a completely new location. I was previously reading the Old Testament, but the bookmark was now in the New Testament.
When I opened it up, the versus Hebrews 10:23-25 literally leapt from the pages…I could focus on no others, but those.
“So now wrap your heart tightly around the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love. This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.”
- 10:23 – Spoke to me about God’s faithfulness and to hang onto my dreams.
- 10:24 – Was the exact description of Pearls In Bloom – words I often used to describe the business, but never knew I was quoting scripture!
- 10:25 – Is for this prayer group and for the deliverance ministry we kicked off two months ago!
When I originally had the name Godly Chitchat pop in my mind (our previous groups name), it came up in discussion over a decade ago while I was on the phone with my friend, but originally it was the name if we were to start a podcast.
However, when this group was actually started, it came out of an urgent need to support a friend. Never in my years to that point, had I ever seen such demonic activity manifest before my eyes. It was an urgent call to gather women around for spiritual warfare.
This is how this group was birthed. And we’re getting back to our roots and the call for this space. The basis of this group is prayer. Prayer that is so rooted in truth that the enemy flees. Prayer so drenched in power that it leaves the enemy licking his wounds. Prayer so drenched in strength that jezebel, leviathan, and witchcraft doesn’t stand a chance. I’m tired of watching the enemy have his way with those I love most.
I had to go through a lot of fire to get to this point. I had to go through so much crazy that I was the one licking my wounds. But he kept encouraging me. He kept showing me the call. He kept visiting me in my dreams, visions and even in the natural. And I said yes to the call. Not an easy road to take and I also ask that you would pray and ask the Lord if you’re really supposed to be in this group. It’s OK, if you need to go elsewhere. There are so many wonderful Christian groups out there and we’re each called to different offices and departments in the body of Christ. There are so many roles that need to be fulfilled. The important question is to ask the Lord, “Am I where I’m supposed to be.”

Don’t be in a space that you don’t have the grace to be in! You’ll get clobbered!! Please understand this!!
With everything in life be intentional with where you are, what you like on social media, and who you do life with.
Your yes to something that you’re not supposed to be part of can mean not saying yes to what you are supposed to say yes to. Does that make sense?
As such, I will begin posting a lot about prayer…we must pray effectively, we must pray according to the spirit of God, and we must pray in unison.
I love each and everyone of you and pray that the peace of God saturates your entire being and brings perfect freedom to you and your children!!
