God blesses me in business! Over the years I have been so blessed in my career. When I needed a new job, I would take my situation to God and literally the first person who called me for an interview 
turned out to be the best job for me and I was offered the position right away. I will admit however, that along the way there were two jobs that I was determined to have (without consulting God) and those were short lived and didn’t turn out so well. LOL
A year after having our son and also being diagnosed with cancer, I took time off to be a stay-at-home mom. Fast forward 8 years…we decided to not renew our foster license so I decided to go back to work. I was cringing at the thought of the corporate-like environment I was in before and long commutes. So I took this all back to God. I poured out my heart to Him. I was still dealing with the pain of not being able to adopt and was very protective of my time with our one and only sweet boy.
During that same time a good friend of mine needed part-time help in the business department that she manages. It was a perfect partnership! It has now bloomed into even more and I know that I’m right where I’m supposed to be. This was exactly one year ago. This job continues to fit our needs perfectly for our current season.
I encourage you to take everything to Him! Please consider becoming a friend of God’s in EVERY SEASON of your life. There’s never been a better time to get to know Him. If you’re in a great place right now…awesome! Start talking with Him now and watch how He begins to craft solutions to future problems. You’ll look back and realize all that He’s done to keep you well protected and nourished.
Please understand that God will still be near the person who never spoke a word to Him all year and makes a desperate cry as they’re driving to a job interview. But oh how much better it is to do life with Him in ALL SEASONS. I think of it as like the old friend who hasn’t spoken to you in decades then calls you out of the blue and asks you to buy something to help them with a business they just started. It doesn’t feel good, ya know? Fortunately God is not wavered by emotions and thought patterns like me. He’s just simply good and merciful all of the time. But again…oh, how much better it is to just be His friend all of the time.
