Last year I went through a tough season. After throwing a few fits for two months, I asked God, “Why I was so upset with you?”
He replied, “Because you still don’t know how much I love you.”
Oh…OK, got it….
Six months later, I went through yet another really tough season. After about two weeks of fits and ugly cries I asked God, “OK, what did I miss?” He replied, “You still don’t know that I AM in control.”
…(chuckle)…(sigh)…OK, got it…
I recently went through another challenging season of a series of back-to-back events that left me standing on the edge of a cliff (you know one of those seasons where it feels like a machine gun full of bullets just went off), BUT THIS TIME
1) I was aware of God’s intense love for me and
2) I fully knew He was in control and He would work it out and
…uh, wow…much better this time. Some tears yes, but I literally just checked and I don’t have any more gray hairs or eye wrinkles than I did before, so that’s good! ;-D
